The Gift Of Giving

December 14th, 2012 - Carmichael Clark

Happy Holidays from Carmichael Clark. Carmichael Clark is celebrating the season by giving back to the local community. Serving the local community is an important value of the attorneys and staff at Carmichael Clark, who are connected with the community and have a spirit of giving that is present throughout the year. We serve on the Boards of Directors of various local non-profit organizations, giving our time, energy and financial resources to these organizations.

Our prime purpose in this life is to help others.

In addition, for the month of December, 2012, Carmichael Clark, is extending our help to Interfaith Coalition of Whatcom County in their effort to provide housing to homeless families. The work of Interfaith Coalition transforms lives. In the words of six-year-old Jordan who moved from a tent into Interfaith Coalition housing, “Thank you for taking us out of the woods… I got more friends than I got before. I got to take a shower whenever I wanted so I didn’t stink.”

Carmichael Clark is matching the contribution of our clients, friends, colleagues to Interfaith Coalition through the end of this year, up to $50. Simply write a check and send it to Interfaith Coalition at 2401 Cornwall Avenue Bellingham, WA 98225 and note that the contribution is part of the Carmichael Clark donation program and Carmichael Clark will match your donation up to $50. We hope that this will help us and you make a bigger difference in our support of this local non-profit organization that provides such valuable services to our community members. We can do no great things, only small things with great love. ~Mother Teresa

The Firm has a long-standing tradition of sponsoring holiday gifts for Interfaith Coalition families. The attorneys and staff donate time and money to support these families during the holidays. Coming together as a Firm to help others strengthens our connections with one another and the sense of community at the Firm. I am proud of the generous spirit of the Firm, the staff, and the attorneys and know that we each receive more than we give through these endeavors.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.
